Quick answer
Vietnam, Cambodia and Thailand assemble city, kids, gravel and e-bike platforms and supply frames, wheelsets and steel parts to EU, UK, US and Australian brands. Typical MOQ is 300-1,000 units per model, FOB USD 65-420 per complete bike, lead time 70-110 days. ISO 4210 test reports and origin proof matter more than the frame sticker.
Country fit
| Country | Best for | MOQ | FOB (26" city bike) |
|---|---|---|---|
| Vietnam | Alloy frames, complete assembly, e-bike integration | 300 units | USD 95-260 |
| Cambodia | Volume assembly for EU duty preference | 500 units | USD 65-180 |
| Thailand | Steel and alloy parts, racks, kickstands, wheel builds | 1,000 pcs | Parts only |
Specs to lock before quoting

FAQ
Can ASEAN assembly avoid EU anti-dumping duty on Chinese bikes?
Only if genuine substantial transformation happens locally and you can document parts origin. Screwdriver assembly is a customs risk.
Who certifies the bike?
You do, as importer. Budget USD 1,200-4,000 per platform for accredited testing.
Are e-bike batteries shippable by sea?
Yes with UN38.3 and correct dangerous-goods packing; air freight is usually refused or very costly.
