- Species and grade: botanical name, grade rules, colour variation range agreed on physical panels.
- Moisture content: 6-9% for indoor flooring, 12-16% for outdoor decking, measured at packing.
- Profile: click or T&G, thickness, width, length mix, bevel, end-matching.
- Finish: UV lacquer coats, oil, brushed texture, gloss level, abrasion class.
- Packing: shrink-wrapped cartons, desiccant, pallet size, container loading plan.
Compliance
- EU: EUDR due-diligence with geolocation data, FSC or PEFC chain of custody, CE per EN 14342 for wood flooring.

WPC lowers maintenance claims and warranty risk; hardwood still wins on premium positioning and price per project.
