AQL sampling (ANSI/ASQ Z1.4)
Standard consumer goods use AQL 2.5 major / 4.0 minor. For a 3,000-piece lot:
- Sample size: 125 pcs (General Inspection Level II)
- Accept: ≤7 major defects, ≤10 minor defects
- Reject: ≥8 major defects
Tighten to AQL 1.0/2.5 for medical, cosmetic, or child-safety items.
