Kitchenware and Cookware from ASEAN 2026: Stainless, Ceramic, Wood

Sourcing stainless steel cookware, ceramics, wooden utensils and silicone kitchen products from Thailand and Vietnam — food-contact compliance guide.

ASEAN's kitchenware supply base

Thailand has supplied global houseware brands with stainless steel cookware and utensils for decades. Vietnam adds ceramics, bamboo and wooden kitchen products. Malaysia contributes silicone and plastic kitchenware with strong process control. For retailers and DTC brands, the region offers food-contact-capable factories without China concentration.

Category map

Thailand: stainless steel pots, pans and utensils, melamine tableware. Vietnam: ceramics, stoneware, bamboo and acacia wood products. Malaysia: silicone bakeware, food storage and plastic kitchen tools.

Food-contact compliance is the entry ticket

EU 10/2011, LFGB and FDA 21 CFR food-contact testing must come from accredited labs, per material and per production change. For ceramics, lead and cadmium leaching tests are the classic failure point. For wooden products, moisture control and food-safe finishes determine whether stock arrives mould-free and compliant.

TUSKO's role

We verify food-contact documentation at certificate level, manage colour and glaze approvals against signed references, and consolidate mixed-material kitchenware programs into single shipments with full export documentation. Send your product list for a landed-cost comparison.
