- Artwork and packaging. Print plates and cartons are frequently the last item ready. Start artwork the day tooling is ordered, not after samples pass.
- Certification. Lab queues do not compress for money in every category. Book slots early.
- Material lots. Speciality resin, dye lots and imported components carry their own lead time, sometimes longer than production.
- Songkran, Chinese New Year and year-end. Thai plants slow in mid-April; upstream Chinese component supply stops for CNY. Build both into the plan.
